I was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and explored places near and far between.

I am an industrial design student at the Ohio State University. From a young age, technology together with the arts have been a significant presence in my life whether through hobbies or just plain interest. As I grew as a creative person, my passion for design collided with my other interests to form what I believe to be the kind of designer I am today. Through whatever I do and however I live, I hope to maintain that mindset unilaterally.
The design program I’ve had the pleasure of learning within has given me an extensive repertoire of tools best practiced while conducting design research and related tasks. At the same time, I believe I bring an affinity for form development and visual communication to my work. I’m especially comfortable with digital sketching in Photoshop/Sketchbook Pro, but I’m also a big fan of model making and computer aided design with SolidWorks and Keyshot. If I had to explain what most inspires me in design, at first I would mention the beauty of the work and the joy it brings me to construct and visualize new ideas and forms. However, at the same time what motivates me is the opportunity to apply my sense of empathy and creativity to problems close to people I feel I can share a bond with.

As a creator, I understand that my experiences and perspectives define who I am in all aspects of identity, and both the lifestyle and professional opportunities I pursue are a result of that understanding.
